Position: Producer - RIBO Licensed

Sutherland Insurance Brokers, located in Guelph, is seeking a salaried Sales Representative to handle an existing book of business for both Commercial & Personal Lines Customers. We are a full service broker with a 62% Personal & 38% Commercial lines split. We offer a highly competitive salary, benefit package, pension plan (employer matched up to 5%) and bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell new policies for both Commercial & Personal Lines clients.
• Maintain & Grow existing book of business.
• Review Renewals and make the appropriate recommendations to existing clients.
• Administer daily client file activity and making the appropriate changes as required.
• Answer in bound phone calls from clients and respond to customer inquires for both Commercial & Personal Lines.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date client files.
• Utilize system to process endorsements, updates, changes and notation of client activity and communication on The Agency Manager system (TAM).
• Provide general insurance insight and assistance in response to client inquiries.
• Assist in growth of our Life Department by generating and referring leads to our life agent.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• RIBO License
• CAIB / CIP designations an asset or willing to obtain.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years Commercial & Personal Lines experience.
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal & written.
• Proven time management & organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task between various projects/tasks/deadlines.
